Terms and Condition
  1. Applicants in their own interest must read and understand all the information published in the succeeding paragraphs.
  2. Application form can be obtained from this institute on any working day between 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. or form can be download from the institute website www.kayakalppalampur.in
  3. Application duly filled up will be deposited in this institute on any working day for registration. Registration fee is Rs. 100/- which will be charged at the time of depositing the application.
  4. Course will be of 200 hrs and will be completed in 3 months. Tuition fee for YPI course will be Rs. 15000/- (excluding examination fee). Examination fee will be paid by the students directly to the authority conducting the final examination.
  5. Candidates are required to make their own arrangement for boarding and lodging..
  6. Affix one recent good quality photograph in the space provided for this purpose on the application form.
  7. Document required – Certificate 10+2 pass and above qualification and copy of Aadhar should be attached alongwith the application form.  Application without signature will be treated as incomplete and rejected.
  8. Students are not covered under the placement policy, as such this institute does not guarantee the placement.
  9. This course is not an academic qualification but a vocational training. Yoga Protocol Instructor course is very basic or foundation course for those who want to persue the knowledge of Yoga for individual and teaching in mass in form of group class or individual class within the perview of the learning during the course.
  10. It will be the responsibility of parents / guardians to keep themselves updated about their ward’s attendance and progress through institute management system or otherwise.
  11. If a student found having any kind of serious ailment or any kind of psychiatric history or psychological ailment or otherwise suffering from mental trauma or depression or any kind of such problem or having any tendency to do anything unwarranted including but not limited to committing suicide, be considered as detrimental or otherwise not appropriate by the institute, for the course atmosphere or otherwise, the institute shall reserve the right to cancel his admission at any time and he shall have no claim for refund of fee already paid or whatsoever against the institute.
  12. Students are strictly prohibited from conducting any religious indoctrination and observances including prayer at any place in the institute.
  13. Students during the class and afterwards are required to behave in a disciplined and dignified manner within the class and campus.
  14. Students during the duration of the programme in the institute are required to behave very decently towards other students, staff, teachers and visitors etc. Any act of misbehavior will not be tolerated at all and the students found guilty will be liable for disciplinary action/ expulsion from the course with immediate effect, without assigning any reason.
  15. Students are required to adhere to dress code as prescribed for the course.
  16. Students are not allowed to form or associate or incite others to form or associate in any manner with any kind of formal and informal union, association, group form, organization, institution etc., whether authorized or unauthorized at any level, within or outside the campus.
  17. Participation in any strike or subversive activities is strictly prohibited.
  18. Students are not allowed to do anything which may cause disturbance in the studies of other students or may be deemed vulgar in any way.
  19. Students are not allowed to hold any meeting, gathering or to do any kind of celebration within or outside the campus.
  20. 80% attendance is mandatory in Yoga Course. Students having less than 80% attendance will not be allowed to appear in the final examination.

Note:   In case of any dispute on any matter concerning the course whether covered by the terms and condition or not, and/ or for interpretation of / in relation to any content of the term and conditions, course material published anywhere in any manner relating to the institute, the decision of the competent authority of the institute shall be final and binding on all concerned, and thereafter the courts at Palampur, H.P. (India) only shall have jurisdiction for unresolved disputes.

Eligibility:-

  1. Candidate should have passed 10 + 2 from any stream.
  2. Candidate should be above 17 yrs of age and less than 55yrs. of age.
  3. After scrutiny application, candidates will be called for interview and merit list will be prepared and seat will allotted on merit basis.
  4. Seats remaining vacant will be offered to the next applicants (s) on the waiting list and if any seats remain vacant thereafter, will be offered on first cum first serve basis.
  5. No relaxation of any kind or reservation of seats will be given in this programme.
  6. For foreign national eligibility condition will remain same as far Indian nationals.
  7. Foreign nationals are also required to fulfill all the eligibility condition and comply with regulations guidelines enforced by concerned foreign country as well as India at their own for the purpose of entry, stay, study and other purposes.
  8. Candidate has to report for the course on the specified date candidates reporting late will not be entertained.

All students shall submit certificate of fitness from competent medical authority.

DISCIPLINARY MISCONDUCT

Disciplinary misconduct constitutes but not limited to one or more of any of the following acts; and any students found guilty of disciplinary misconduct shall be liable for severe disciplinary action beside the action imposable under any law or regulation in force:

  • Physical assault or threat to use physical force, against any staff member, visitor, fellow students or any other person;
  • Carry of, possession, use of, or threat of use of or abetting the use of any kind of weapons including sticks, rods, guns, swords, knifes, etc. and any kind of firework, crackers or any other explosives or anything which are barred by the Institute and / or the law;
  • Misbehaviour or cruelty towards any other student, staff of the institute or any other person;
  • Possession, use of or dealing with or abetting the use of any kind of intoxicating material including alcohol, drugs of any kind, gutka, tobacco, cigarettes or any other sedative materials or anything, except those prescribed by a qualified doctor;
  • Indulging in or encouraging violence or any conduct which involves moral turpitude;
  • Any form of gambling;
  • Discrimination against any student or a member of staff on grounds of caste, creed, language, place of origin, social and cultural background or any of them;
  • Irregularity in attendance, persistent idleness or negligence or indifference towards the classes, test or examination or any other curricular or co-curricular activity, any other work assigned or a student is expected to participate in;
  • Resorting to or, in any way, abet any form of walk out, mass cut, strike, agitation, campaigning, etc. or any other form of protest in connection with any matter pertaining to study or otherwise, in and outside the campus of the Institute.
  • Practicing casteism and untouchability in any form or inciting any other person to do so;
  • Drinking or smoking;
  • Any practice-whether verbal or otherwise-derogatory of women;
  • Behaving in a rowdy, intemperate or disorderly manner in the premises of the Institute or outside or encouraging or inciting any other person to do so;
  • Engagement or participation or inciting others to participate in any demonstration prejudicial to the interest of the Institute or public order, decency or morality or that involves contempt of court, defamation or incitement to an offence;
  • Any attempt at bribing or corruption in any manner;
  • Any attempt or threat to commit suicide or likewise or abetting or inciting any other person to commit suicide or anything unwarranted and / or prohibited by law or otherwise;
  • Wilful destruction or any damage caused to the property of the Institute either alone or jointly with others;
  • Creating ill-will or intolerance on religious or communal grounds or inciting any other student to do so;
  • Disobeying the instructions of teachers or the authorities;
  • Any sort of unwanted gestures, postures, expressions, movements, comments, action etc. made towards any student, employee or person, in or outside the campus;
  • Indulging in or encouraging any form of disruptive activity connected with tests, examinations or any other activity of the Institute;
  • Out bursting or giving any statement or disclosing any information or such like thing to/ for any media (including any print media, radio broadcast or telecast or through internet or announcements or posters, pamphlets or any other way) or public regarding the matters pertaining to the study of the student himself or other students or any other matters related to Kayakalp;
  • Collecting any money from any student or any employee for any purpose including donations, contributions / gathering without the written approval of the Institute.
Do’s and Dont’s for students using residential facility
  • Geyser facility may be utilized only when necessary. Maximum water may be used from Solar Heating facility, readily available in the bath rooms.
  • Valuables may be kept by the residents under proper lock and key and keys be kept with themselves. Staff of the complex would not be responsible for loss of anything from the residential rooms.
  • Loss of keys charges are as under:-
    1. For Cup board keys    Rs. 500/-
    2. For Door keys Rs. 1500/-
  • Use of Non-veg. items, alcohol, smoking, chewing tobacoo, narcotics etc. is strictly prohibited in the complex and in the rooms also. Patients found consuming such items within the premises or entering the premises after consuming said items will be liable to be discharged forthwith without any notice and explanation.
  • For washing and ironing of clothes, laundry facility is available in the complex.
  • For any inconvenience in the residential accommodation, House Keeping Staff is available round the clock at Extension No. 136.
  • Visitors will not be allowed to remain in students residential facilities.
  • Residents should put off the lights in the rooms before 10 pm.
  • Making any sort of nuisance and loud noise in the ward or rooms which may disturb the other patients should not be resorted to under any circumstances.
  • Residents shall put off lights, Fan, room heater or heat pillors etc. before leaving the room. Fire safety measures to be followed strictly.

Before vacating the allotted accommodation, signature of any of the housekeeping staff be obtained by the residents on “No due” certificate form and the same will be handed over to the security guard at the main gate.
